Lighbringer damage reduction question - Guild Wars Forums

Hi,

I tried a lot of things with this damage reduction. Actually it is bugged as a wiki says but:

Protective spirit works some time till the bug kills me.
Defiant was Xinrae (with enough death penality) works infinitely.
What's the difference between these 2 situations?? i really don't understand.

Here are 2 screens if you don't see what i mean, btw if you find anything usefull with Defiant+Lightbringer you can tell me
